Our IP comes from the entire MRC scientific base, with a total annual investment of US$500m/GBP£290m. Technologies that have been invented by MRC scientists include DNA sequencing and monoclonal antibodies.

Your company can take advantage of our intellectual property via exclusive or non-exclusive licensing, or through collaboration, often with direct access to the inventor. We have numerous licences available in areas such as platform technologies, devices, drug targets and biomarkers, acrosss a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Typically, the financial terms of a licence from MRC could include an ip-front payment, milestone or annual payments and royalties on products. However, there are any other structures and variations, for example, taking equity in a company. We have a flexible and creative approach to deal making.
