Some useful facts about MRC Technology
- At the start of 2009 total licensing income generated by MRCT stood at over GBP £434m, one of the highest rates of return internationally.
- 12 drugs based on MRC IP have marketing approval, including Humira® and Herceptin®
- MRCT has been involved in 17 start-up companies, including UCB Celltech and CAT
- There are currently 11 active programs in the Drug Discovery Group
- Monies awarded by the Development Gap Fund total GBP£4.4m (US$8m) to March 2007
