Some of the world's leading scientists could be working alongside your development team
How collaborating can help you
A typical collaboration could range from a one-off experiment to a two or three year funded lab position or studentship. By working with Medical Research Council scientists you could gain access to some of the finest minds in their fields.
Our track record
One of the most successful industry academic collaborations has been the Division of Signal Transduction Therapy, based at the MRC Protein Phosphorylation Unit and the University of Dundee. Started in July 1998 with 5 years of support. DSTT was renewed for a further 5 years in 2003, and renewed again in 2008 with core funding of £10.8 million over 4 years. Companies involved in the latest renewal are Pfizer, GSK, Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca and Merck Serono.
