MRC's Adrian Owen says brain training games don't improve general mental ability

Research carried out by Dr Adrian Owen from the Medical Research Council's Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit has shown that brain training games don't improve general mental ability. The research was carried out as part of the Brain Test Britain segment, part of BBC One's science programme Bang Goes The Theory.
